I have a homemade arena drag that I made with a chain link fence gate I bought at Home Depot, an extra bunch of chain link, and a couple of pipes. It served me well for 2.5 years on my sand riding ring. It doesn’t have teeth; it is meant to smooth and fluff the arena, not dig it up. The gate cost $95, and I think the pipes were about $10. It’s 67″x39″. It doesn’t weigh very much, so it’s easy to hook onto the tractor/ATV or truck. I would think you could add some teeth of sorts to make it dig in more, if necessary.
