i have this ford tractor about a 1966 model 8000, ok i will tell you about it.This tractor and also a 16 foot masey ferguson, i believe its a 1975.i live in Roseville on 80 acres and you know there is no planting in my area any more.we have sold the 80 acres to a developer.you know what that means i have no use for it any more.i have it this tractor for about 20 years and still runs as good as the day i bought it (runs just fine). i have used this tractor for about 50-60 days of the year.I used it for disking and getting land ready to plant with and also for the fire breaks.I maintained this tractor very well so i want to sell this tractor and this disk combination for $ 6,000.00.Pictures enclosed and the phone number is (916)772-4815.Location : Watt and P.F.E. Nice, original tractor, unrestored but excellent restoration candidate if you want a good runner that needs mainly cosmetic restoration! This tractor has the rare factory high clearance wide front end that only a handful of Oliver 60’s had. It starts easily and does run. It has antifreeze in the coolant system. The front end is correct and I have not noted any braks or repairs. The rear wheels have been modified to 38 inch rims. The rear tires are marginal. The radiator shell and grille screens are in good condition. The original aluminum hood should probably be replaced with a sheet metal one.Side panels are missing.

Tractor runs good and has working pto, live hydraulics, and three point hitch. 24 inch wheels are in excellent condition, One rear tire is marginal (I will include another good tire), the other is in good condition. Hood and fenders are in excellent condition. Grille is in fair condition. Missing battery side panels (available as reproductions). Correct and original drawbar and three point parts. Front tires are good. Generator is working. This tractor’s weak point is its transmission. Previous owner replaced input shaft bearings with a brass bushing a few years ago. While it still works fine, it is a bit noisy and may require attention in the future.
Parts availability and ease of maintenance are strong plus points for this tractor, and like they say, nothing runs like a Deere! This would be a great addition to your country acreage to mow or disk your property, or restore for the vintage collectible that it is.
